The Men’s Asia Cup 2025 will reignite the rivalries among the continental giants once again in the field of cricket. The tournament will take place from 9 to 28 September 2025 and the matches will be played in Twenty20 International (T20I) format.
This will be the 17th edition of the Asia Cup cricket tournament. India are the defending champions.
The tournament will feature eight teams. The five full members of the Asian Cricket Council, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka automatically qualified for the tournament and will be joined by United Arab Emirates, Oman and Hong Kong, the teams which finished in the top three in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2024.
Asia Cup 2025: Format
The eight teams split into two groups of four. The top two teams from each group will qualify for a single-group Super Four stage. The top two teams in this stage will contest the final.
