Highest Individual Scores In Champions Trophy History

The ICC Champions Trophy is a quadrennial cricket tournament played in ODI format.
Formerly called the Knockout Trophy, eight editions of the tournament have been held and the ninth one is underway.

On that note, let us have a look at the batter who has posted the highest individual scores in the history of the Champions Trophy.
Ibrahim Zadran
Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran etched his name in history with a record-breaking knock in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Afghan opener scored a stunning 177 runs off 146 balls, smashing 12 fours and six sixes against England in Lahore. His innings helped Afghanistan post a formidable total of 325/7, setting a new benchmark in the prestigious tournament.
Zadran became first Afghanistan batter to hit a hundred in the ODI World Cup, also became the first player from his country to score a hundred in the ICC Champions Trophy.
Ben Duckett
Ben Duckett scored 165 off 143 balls vs Australia 2025 ICC Champions Trophy a few days before Zadran’s monumental feat. The English batter hammered 165 in 143 balls against Australia in Lahore. The opener struck 17 fours and 3 sixes during his innings.
Nathan Astle
Nathan Astle smashed 145 not out off 151 balls vs USA at ICC Champions Trophy 2004 . The former New Zealand opener played an unbeaten innings of 145 in 151 deliveries against the USA at The Oval in London. Astle’s innings guided New Zealand to a total of 347/4 in 50 overs. USA were bundled out on a score of 137.
Andy Flower
Andy Flower scored 145 off 164 balls in a match against India at 2002 ICC Champions Trophy. The Zimbabwean batter hit 145 in 164 deliveries during his side’s clash with India at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, Sri Lanka. However, his century went in vain as Zimbabwe could only manage 274 for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs.
Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly scored141 not out off 142 balls against South Africa at 2000 ICC Knockout. The former Indian captain scored a classy 141 in 142 deliveries during the 2000 ICC Knockout semi-final against South Africa in Nairobi. The opener’s innings helped India to a score of 295/6. South Africa were all-out on 200. India thus qualified for the final.
