PKL 12: Will Tamil Thalaivas Win Their First-Ever Trophy

The Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 is approaching and franchises are preparing to throw in their weight for the title glory. While successful franchise like Patna Pirates will be looking to add to their cabinet, other teams will be aiming to lay hands on the elusive trophy.

Tamil Thalaivas, which are yet to win a PKL title, will be looking to turn the tide this time around.

After an underwhelming Season 11, the franchise appointed Sanjeev Baliyan as the head coach, while D. Suresh Kumar has been appointed as the assistant coach for the upcoming season.

The new coaching duo has built a strong squad for the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12. The team looks strong on paper, and with the experience of Baliyan and Kumar, they will certainly be top contenders for the title. A strong balance of experienced and young players ensures depth across positions.

They got star raider like Pawan Sehrawat and Arjun Deshwal. Sehrawat can also play as an all-rounder. He is expected to be the team’s x-factor, not just in raiding but also stepping in as a cover defender when needed — showcasing his all-round skills and leadership.

In the defensive department, Sagar Rathee will lead the charge, supported by a mix of retained young players (RYPs) and new young players (NYPs). The cover defence remains under observation, with final combinations to be decided after the pre-season camp.

With a formidable squad, renewed coaching staff, and a laser-sharp focus on results, Tamil Thalaivas look ready to roar in PKL Season 12. Fans can expect high-octane kabaddi and a serious title challenge this time around.
