Pro Kabaddi League 12: List of Players Retained Using FBM Option

The Pro Kabaddi League is heading for its next edition and teams are gearing up with an aim of lifting one of the most coveted trophies in the sport.
The 12 franchises utilised their strategic acumen to build their respective teams.
In the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 Player Auction, as many as 529 players went under the hammer.
A total of 12 players were purchased from Category A, while 14 players were sold from Category B.
Category C saw 67 players snapped up by the 12 franchises, and 28 players were acquired from Category D.
The base prices for each category are as follows:
- Category A: INR 30 Lakh
- Category B: INR 20 Lakh
- Category C: INR 13 Lakh
- Category D: INR 9 Lakh
One of the highlights of the Pro Kabaddi Season 12 auction was the introduction of the revised Final Bid Match (FBM) rule.
According to the new FBM rule, all franchises were allowed to buy back released players for either one or two seasons by matching the final auction bid price at the PKL Season 12 auction.
A total of 14 players were retained using the FBM option auction, five players reacquired for two seasons, and nine players rejoined their respective teams for one season each.
PKL Season 8 champions Dabang Delhi K.C. used their FBM option to retain star raider Ashu Malik for INR 1.90 crore for two seasons.
Right cover Deepak Singh rejoined Patna Pirates for INR 86 lac after the three-time PKL winners exercised their FBM card to retain him for two seasons.
Among other two-season retention via the FBM option, PKL Season 10 champions Puneri Paltan reacquired all-rounder Mohd. Amaan for INR 35 lac, while defending champions Haryana Steelers retained Nepali raider Ghanshyam Roka Magar and left corner Hardeep for INR 13 lac each.
Patna Pirates used their FBM card to retain all-rounder Ankit Jaglan for a whopping INR 1.573 crore for one season.
Seasoned all-rounder Vijay Malik returned to Telugu Titans for INR 51.50 lac after the franchise exercised their FBM option for one season.
PKL Season 2 champions U Mumba retained their left cover Parvesh Bhainswal for INR 25.10 lac using their FBM card for one season.
