Pro Kabaddi League: Bengaluru Bulls End Partnership With Head Coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat

Bengaluru Bulls sacked head coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat ahead of the 12th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL).

Sehrawat has been at the helm of the Bengaluru side since the inaugural season in 2024, leading the team to its first title in the sixth edition (2018-19) of the competition. He was the only coach which remained with a team since season one of the PKL.

“For over a decade, “Coach Saab” Randhir has been a cornerstone of our team’s journey, playing an integral role in shaping the success and achievements we have celebrated together. His dedication and leadership have left a lasting impact on the Bengaluru Bulls family,” the team said in a post on social media.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Coach Randhir for his invaluable contributions and wish him nothing but the very best in his future endeavours,” it added.

Poor Performance led to Randhir Singh Sehrawat’s exit

Under the leadership of Sehrawat, the Bulls have reached the playoffs six time in 11 seasons.

However, the team faced disappointment in the recently concluded season, winning only two of its 22 games, finishing at the bottom of the table consisting of 12 teams in the league.

Bengaluru Bulls were the first team to be eliminated from the PKL 11 playoff race. Sehrawat took the responsibility of the humiliation after the disappointing end to the campaign.

“All I can say, is it has been 11 seasons for me in PKL and I have never finished at the last spot, I might have missed the qualification for a point or so but I have never finished at the bottom.,” said coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat.

“Whether I stay with this team or not, all I wanna say is that up and down is a part of life. I don’t give up and I accept challenges. It has been so many seasons and I have seen both sides, but what I am sad about is how badly we played, ” he added.
