Rohtak Royals Appoint Surender Nada As Head Coach For Inaugural KCL Season

Rohtak Royals have announced the appointment of former India kabaddi star Surender Nada as their Head Coach ahead of the inaugural season of the Kabaddi Champions League (KCL).

Nada, widely regarded as one of the finest defenders in kabaddi history, brings vast experience, leadership, and tactical expertise to the franchise representing Rohtak. Known for his lethal ankle-hold technique, Nada rose to prominence as the highest tackle-point scorer in the first season of the Pro Kabaddi League and achieved the rare feat of registering five consecutive High 5s.

Expressing his excitement, Nada said, “I am honoured to take on the responsibility of Head Coach for Rohtak Royals. This team comes from a region with a deep-rooted kabaddi culture, and I look forward to building a competitive unit that plays fearless and intelligent kabaddi. The KCL is a great platform, and our aim is to set high standards from the very first season.”

Born on July 1, 1987, in Jhajjar, Haryana, Nada has been a key contributor to India’s international success, winning gold medals at the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, 2017 Asian Kabaddi Championship, 2018 Dubai Kabaddi Masters, and the 2019 South Asian Games.
