Top Raiders With More Than 1000 Points In PKL History

Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), incepted in 2014, have produced brilliant players over the years. Some of them have gone on to make the more than 1000 raid points.

In this article let us have a look at the players who have reached the 1000 raid points mark.

Pardeep Narwal

In Season 7, Pardeep Narwal became the first player to complete 1000 raid points in Pro Kabaddi. Popularly known as the ‘Dubki King’, Narwal is widely regarded as one of the best raiders in PKL.

Making his PKL debut for Bengaluru Bulls in Season 2, he has set multiple PKL records. Apart from Bengaluru Bulls, the star raider has represented Patna Pirates and UP Yoddhas in his legendary PKL career. With 1801 raid points in 190 matches, he holds the record for the most raid points in PKL history.

Maninder Singh

Maninder Singh was the second player to accomplish the incredible milestone of 1000 raid points in PKL history. Considered to be one of the leading raiders in the league, former Bengal Warriorz captain Maninder joined the elite list after he achieved the feat during a game against Haryana Steelers in Season 9.

Singh made his PKL debut for Jaipur Pink Panthers in the inaugural edition in 2014, and currently features second on the all-time raid points chart with 1568 points in 158 games.

Pawan Kumar Sehrawat

Pawan Sehrawat was the fifth player to breach 1000 raid points in Pro Kabaddi. Considered to be one of the poster boys of PKL, he reached the feat in a PKL clash against Patna Pirates in Season 10.

Fondly known as the ‘Hi-Flyer’, Pawan has played for several franchises in PKL including Bengaluru Bulls, Gujarat Giants, Tamil Thalaivas and Telugu Titans, since making his PKL debut in Season 3. The Indian kabaddi star features third on the all-time PKL raid points chart with  1340 points in 139 matches.

Arjun Deshwal

Arjun Deshwal was the second-fastest and seventh overall to complete 1000 raid points in PKL history. The  star raider reached the landmark during a clash against UP Yoddhas in Season 11.

Deshwal took just 97 matches to reach the milestone of 1000 raid points in PKL, only behind Naveen Kumar. Having made his PKL debut for U Mumba in Season 6, he  has already cemented his legacy as one of the best raiders in the league. He has already accumulated 1327 raid points in 114 matches.

Naveen Kumar

Naveen Kumar scripted history as he became the fastest to reach 1000 raid points in Pro Kabaddi history. Popularly known as ‘Naveen Express’, Dabang Delhi K.C.’s star raider Naveen achieved the milestone in just 90 matches during an encounter against Bengal Warriorz in Season 10. Naveen, who was adjudged the Most Valuable Player in PKL Season 7 and 8, became the sixth player to accomplish the milestone of 1000 raid points in the league. Since his PKL debut in 2018, he has amassed 1120 raid points in 107 matches so far.

Rahul Chaudhari

Rahul Chaudhari became the third player to breach 1000 raid points in Pro Kabaddi history. Kwown as ‘Raid Machine’, he reached the milestone in a PKL clash against Dabang Delhi K.C. in Season 9. Having played for the likes of Telugu Titans, Tamil Thalaivas and Jaipur Pink Panthers, the magnificent raider ended his illustrious PKL career with 1045 raid points from 154 matches.

Sachin Tanwar

TaSachin Tanwar was the latest to join the elite 1000 raid point club in Pro Kabaddi. He became the eighth player to reach 1000 raid points in PKL history during a clash against Telugu Titans in Season 11.

Since making his debut for Gujarat Giants in Season 5, Tanwar has emerged as one of the top raiders in the league. With 1045 raid points in 145 games, the talented raider currently has the seventh-highest raid points in the league.

Deepak Niwas Hooda

Former Indian kabaddi captain Deepak Niwas Hooda joined the celebrated list as he became the fourth player to reach 1000 raid points in Pro Kabaddi. the former all-rounder accomplished the milestone during a PKL encounter against Gujarat Giants in Season 9.

Widely regarded as one of the best all-rounders in PKL history, Hooda donned the jerseys of Telugu Titans, Puneri Paltan, Bengal Warriorz and Jaipur Pink Panthers in his career. He is currently the eighth-highest raider in PKL with 1020 raid points in 157 games.
