Women’s Premier League 2026: List Of Matches

Women’s Premier League 2026 (WPL 2026) is set to kick off on January 9 with two-time and reigning Women’s Premier League champions Mumbai Indians taking on 2024 winners Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Navi Mumbai.

Navi Mumbai will host the first 11 matches of the season from January 9 to 17, before the action shifts to Vadodara for the remaining set of 11 fixtures, including the Eliminator and the WPL 2026 final.

Women’s Premier League 2026: Teams

Five teams feature at WPL 2026. They are as follows:

  • Mumbai Indians (MI)
  • Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)
  • Delhi Capitals (DC)
  • Gujarat Giants (GG)
  • UP Warriorz (UPW)

Women’s Premier League 2026: Format

Each team will play each other in two matches in double round-robin format over the league stage. The top team qualifies directly for the WPL 2026 final on February 5 while the second and third-placed teams contest in the Eliminator on February 3 for a chance of making the summit clash.

All matches in WPL 2026, barring two, will see evening starts. The only two afternoon matches in the season are UPW vs GG on January 10 and UPW vs MI on January 17. These two days will also see double headers in Navi Mumbai.
